Caching

The Caching user interface is a hosted caching configuration interface that you can expose to your sub-accounts for self-service cache management. It gives you two deployment options depending on how much control you want your customers to have over their own cache settings.

Deployment Options

ISV-Managed via API

Configure and manage caching centrally through the Connect AI Embed API. Sub-account users do not see a caching interface—all cache settings are controlled at the parent account level. Use this model when you want to enforce consistent cache behavior across all customers without giving them configuration access. Refer to the endpoints under Job API for details.

Sub-Account Self-Service

Expose the hosted Embedded Caching UI directly within your product so that sub-account users can manage their own cache settings without involving your team. This reduces support escalations around caching and gives customers control over their own configuration.

Accessing the Embedded Caching User Interface

The caching configuration API is accessible through the Connect AI Embed REST API. To expose the hosted UI to sub-account users, embed the provided UI component in your product. See Generate Jobs URL to generate a URL that gives end users access to create or update their cache connection.
